Thank You Dixie Chicks!
It was the song that got the seed planted in my brain and my heart...........Cowboy Take Me Away. It was my senior year when I remember hearing this song for the first time and I LOVED it. To put it mildly the "cowboys" in my school were generally tight wearin' wrangler lovin' so I would have never, ever wanted to date a cowboy! That is until I heard this song. Suddenly the thought of a "cowboy" sounded pretty good to me. Fast forward awhile and a few "cowboys" later I started dating the cowboy of my dreams. He rode horses, worked on a farm, and used words like "great googly mooglies". Not your typical cowboy but he had all of the "cowboy" characteristics that I was looking for and so much more. He may not dress or talk much like a cowboy (although he does look great in a pair of tight wranglers!) He has truly taken me away.....

I never thought I would marry a cowboy, but some are just too good to resist.
I've never heard someone say "great googlie mooglies" and thought, "What a cowboy!" ;)I must say his wardrobe has come a long way since the early days.
I have to say that I felt the same way about cowboys until Jed came along and took me away :D
