Paper Towels and Windex pure genius.... Love' em! I didn't think I was so addicted to them until I ran out of paper towels. Windex just doesn't quite do it without a paper towel. I struggled. Seriously, do you know how rewarding it is to clean off the stove, a mirror and even my table with a little Windex and a paper towel? One run to Costco, 5 sheets later, and I was once again happy this morning. How I LOVE that smell! Paper Towels and Windex.. is there a better match out there??

You're too funny, but absolutely right. Years ago, in the tough times, we'd forgo buying paper towels to save on the budget. I'm not sure I could do that now. I'm sure it's a staple, you know, like flour!!!
Mike did have that suggestion (forgoing buying them). I just laughed

You know I hardly ever use them. I just bought a new case of them and it will probably last me till the end of the year. No joke. The only time I really use them is when I was windows. I use the Lysol wipes for everything.
Just so you know, when washing mirrors and windows-Windex and newspaper make a great non-streaking combo! So in the future, you don't have to stress over running out of paper towels :o)
Wow! If you run out of things to wash, you can come do my windows. :)

Amen to Windex and paper towels. Newspaper works a lot better, but I can't stand the feel of it.
I'm telling you people-Clorox Wipes! Best thing ever! I used to have the Windex/Paper towel obsession as well, but it has been replaced!
I'm with ya on the windex and paper towels, nothing beats the smell of windex!!! Although a lot of people had good points...newspaper does create less streaks and Catey is right...clorox wipes!!! (for bathrooms regularly used by males! By the way, you could just come next door next time you need a fix...of paper towels and windex that is!
We used to use newspapers for the window cleaning too. But my main use for paper towels is wetting them & cleaning up my ragamuffins! You crack me up--P.S.
has anyone ever heard of old t-shirt rags? i thought everyone was an enviro freak these days. i will have to try the newspaper trick.
