1 vs 3

McKenna is off camping with my Bro and his family (hopefully remaining somewhat warm and dry!) and Brynlee is off for the weekend with Grandma Monsen ( hopefully getting in some good cowgirl time!) You would think that having only one of my babies home would be easier. In some ways it is... bath, meals, hair, dressing, making beds, shopping (although not yet attempted) oh wait I haven't done her hair either, but when I do I will only be in the bathroom for about 5 minutes rather then the usual 20! So yep, much easier! However, the list stops there. Raigynn is walking around trying to "help" me do everything. On a typical morning I can slip my way in and out of rooms getting things done without so much of a glance from my girls. The above pic shows a talent show they put on for me one morning. They were "hula" girls. They have so much fun playing together while I am happily (might be a little exaggeration there) doing my job. Normally Raigynn is petrified of the vacuum but since there was no running and hiding game being played she wanted to help. Side note: why is it so hard for little ones to understand the concept of walking backwards? I died trying not to laugh at her attempts. She was all over the place, not to mention that vacuuming took twice as long. Oh well memories right :) So while I will enjoy this weekend with just Raigynn at home, I realize how much I love having a 7, 4, and 2 year old here at home!!

This also begs the question, maybe having more kids might be easier??? hmmmmm probably not :)

I actually agree with your logic because when Hannah has a friend over, which keeps both her and Gabe entertained, then that's when I can get the most done. So yes, sometimes more is easier! :)

My mom has always said that one child is the hardest. I have to admit two is harder in ways, but easier in others

We went over the Fountain Green this weekend to find the joys of 3 cute little blond haired girls hanging with Grandma. My poor little one really tried hard to keep up with all of them. They were all so much fun to watch.

Love it! I know what you mean, I'm actually kinda glad that Justin's not taking Alec on the father and sons outing this weekend or Payton would follow me around the entire time...which isn't always bad, but can sometimes drive you nuts :o)

Glad you and your cute family are alive. I was getting worried with no blogging going on. Not that I could say much......
