The BIG 3-0

No, I am not turning thirty quite yet. I have a couple of years still to go for that benchmark. I have now been prego f0r 30 weeks! This pregnancy has been alot harder then my previous ones and I often find myself wishing I was done. Although, I can say I am not quite ready for a newborn just yet. I decided that I would think of 30 things I love about being pregnant to help me get through this last trimester. Because despite all of my whining I am so grateful for the chance to be bringing another little one into this world. So here goes............

1. my favorite, feeling her move inside of me
2. knowing that she is warm and happy
3. wondering what she will look like
4. picturing Raigynn as the big sister
5. having my girls talk and sing to my tummy
6. knowing that I get to be a Mommy to another one of Heavenly Fathers daughters
7. watching my girls fascination with pregnancy
8. answering funny questions
9. watching peoples response to this being our 4th girl
10. enjoying Raigynn as my baby for a little while longer
11. havinga good exuse to buy egg nog in October :)
12. thinking about our family continung to grow
13. hearing the heart beat, the sound never gets old
14. talking about labor and delivery and knowing that soon I will get to do it again
15. my nails and hair are GROWING!
16. lifes simple pleasures are better when some of the more exciting ones are not doable
17. watching Mike talk about having another daughter
18. getting input on just what we will name this little one
19. buying baby girl clothes (SO much cuter then the boy ones)
20. Justification for buying Raigynn more clothes.... "well the baby will end up using it to"
21. knowing that I am doing what Heavenly Father wants me to at this time
22. having an excuse to eat desseret ( no doubt I'll be regreting this come Jan)
23. feeling her move gets two slots... I LOVE it
24. enjoying the little things a little more because I know in a few weeks life will FOREVER change
25. thinking about what I'll be doing when I finally go into Labor
26. I have been reading a book about Eve (yes Adams partner) and just how special the Mother-Daughter relationship is
27. daydreaming about life after she makes her appearance
28. thinking of her and how special she must be to be coming at this time on the earth
29. knowing there is a little one inside of me growing healthy and strong so far
30. the anticipation of actually going IN to labor and not just being induced...... I really am excited to have a story to tell besides just, " I went to the hospital, they hooked me up to pitocin............

Okay, not as hard as I was thinking. But to be honest I could probably spout off 30 things I dislike about pregancy as well. But I am thinking positive, positive, positive, positive, positive thoughts :)

I would have to agree with you on the girl clothes thing. There are not very many cute boys clothes around. I can't believe that you are in week 30. I am almost under 100 days.

I'm with Rheanna on the egg nog thing. So cute, you almost make me want to get prego too. Okay, I don't know if I'd go that far, but it makes me nostalgic anyway!

Love all those thoughts. Keep thinking positively. Going natural is the only way to go! I've done 50/50 and LOVED both of my natural labors. I hope you love it too! I'll be anxiously waiting to hear about her debut and what you decide to name her!!!
