Thanksgiving ROADTRIP

After making an off handed comment about meeting all the buddies in Kentucky for Thanksgiving an idea was born. The 26 hour drive seemed like a small thing when imagining the fun time we would be having with the family! We could do it.......and maybe even without stopping! 6 kids, 4 adults and 1 fabulous MoMobile. The planning and preparations were in full swing! We were so excited. Snacks, activities, movies, books on cd, electronic devices charged up, and tucked away nicely in the correlating bin (I wanted to have an organized drive). We were finally on our way out. However,  in all of of our fabulous preparing and organizing we failed to buy a MAP!! We are so used to using our navigation on the phone. Driving through WY thats not really an option. Lesson learned. I am so mad at myself for not taking a picture of the car! My dad made a fabulous luggage carrier we hooked to the trailer hitch, the back was filled to capacity, and my nicely packed bins were sitting in between the driver and passenger seats. We were truly traveling in STYLE! We finally made it to Fort Knox Kentucky! It was a L-O-N-G drive. We were so grateful to finally be seeing the family and not the insides of the MoMobile. Everyone was awaiting our arrival and we couldn't have had a better reunion that night at Haley and Landons. So much fun to see everyone and realize just how much everyone had changed. Dustins family and our family had hotels on base so we pretty much played musical sleeping arrangements every night. The kids were so happy to finally be together. We had fun talking, playing games, and just enjoying the crazy of having 14grandkids running around. I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story of our fabulous and memorable trip.

K, I was just wondering if it was my computer that messed up the pics. Darling pics and great post anyway though. Glad to finally have that recorded for generations to come. Can't wait for our trip this summer! Dying to figure out how many days, but that might too depressing, so I'd better not. . .
