Last night on the way home from book club we were talking about how wonderful our husbands are and how lucky we all felt. I was so thrilled to know that all of my fellow book club members all felt the same way about their husbands as I do about mine. I started thinking after I got home as I snuggled my cold feet against Mikes warm body why did I LOVE Mike so much and why exactly do I LOVE being married to him.
Here are some of the reasons that I came up with in random order of course! Holding his hands... they are a perfect fit to mine, when he opens the door for me, that he is an honorable priesthood holder, he is the best Daddy any little girl could ask for, he gets my vitamin at night for me because I always forget, he is so easy to make smile when he is trying to be mad, he never stays mad for more then 10 minutes tops! No JOKING, he loves to tell me everything that is going on at work and then wants me to tell him about my day, he lets me be me crazy, fun, sad, happy it doesn't matter, when I am too tired to do companionship study he reads
to me as I snuggle into his chest and close my eyes ( I promise I usually hear most of the words that he is reading), he wants me to follow what ever I am passionate about, he wakes up with the girls in the morning so I can go to the gym, Wow this is getting post is getting longer then I thought and I honestly feel like I just warmed up my brain! Anyways to say the least he his truly my best friend and I am so grateful that he loved me enough to take me to the temple to seal us for all of eternity. I couldn't imagine any kind of heaven or earth for that matter with out him! One of the lyrics to a favorite song is "Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be, God bless our love" Well I guess that pretty much sums it all up! I LOVE you Smalls! Thanks for being you!
