For the past 5 years we have had a girls weekend in St. George. All of the hubbies are on full time duty and us girls are on a full time shopping spree. People ask us if we do anything else but shop. Well yes we do other things like eat, drink, sleep, you know the necessities but really that is all we do is shop! Shop for our kids ourselves and we usually spend a little on our hubbies
We all pile up our bags and enjoy all of our hard work, and all the money we SAVED. (spent doesn't count just SAVED) Just kidding we all have a budget and some of us tried to stay within it. I guess next year I'll have to try a little harder!:)
On Sunday we went to church and then went to the St. George Temple and enjoyed the visitors center. It was a gorgeous day and the Temple looked beautiful against the blue sky. In order of apperance Whitney (lil' sis), Me, Liz (Nathans girl who is not officially waiting), my Mom, Annika (bros' wife), and Haley(lil' sis).
Another tradition. Dessert at Dennys in the middle of the night. Our poor waiter got sick of us asking for more whipping cream so he just gave us the bottle. My fave dessert is apple crisp. Yummy!
My Favorite purchase-Matching dresses from Children's Place for my girls for Easter. LOVE IT!
On the way home from a much needed break from the daily grind. Thanks to Dustin and Annikas Suburban we all traveled in comfort! We were all ready to see our kids and our husbands by the time we got home. I asked McKenna if she missed me and she told me "I had more funner then missing you" I am so glad! Its good for all of us to get a break. Until next year!
