I just have to blog about the news I found out today. One of my cousins and her hubby found out they were expecting their first baby. They have been trying for along time (5 years or more). I could not be more excited for them and wish them the very best! It got me thinking about my first pregnancy and the thing i wished I would of known. So if you have any advice for a first time pregnant Mommy leave it here and I will pass it along :)
I wish I would have known-
*Every stage during pregnancy has good and bad, just TRY to enjoy it all and think about the end result
*Take a nap when you feel like it, a nap can do wonders for your achy prego bod!
*You aren't eating for two and all those extra calories WILL catch up to you!
*No lotion or cream can keep you from stretch marks, either you get them or not
*Day dreaming of you and your baby together can get you through any bout of nausea
*Keep water and saltine crackers close (Lemonade tasted great to me)
*Exercise, Exercise, Exercise It helps with stress and helps you during delivery
*9 months does come to an end, eventually the baby will come...
My grandma always said, "The apple will drop when its ripe"
*If you feel like something is wrong just go to Labor and Delivery and let them check you out, it can be so relieving to hear the heartbeat!
*Its okay if you aren't sure if that first kick is the baby or gas--Eventually you will be able to tell
*Dont worry about the weight gain-it does come off sooner or later (most cases later :)

Thanks for the congrats, but we were trying for a baby from day one. So 11 years, we didn't always know what are options were though. We started talking about babies right away, there came a really depressing point when we just didn't want to talk about it anymore, those were hard times.
Its okay to have emotional days! No one told me that I was going to cry over a package of Oreo's or even a stupid commercial for no reason. Its the hormones people, so its okay just cry and let it out!
