2008 ....

Looking back on what we did, learned, or enjoyed

*Bought our FIRST house
*celebrated our 7th anniversary
* sent Mckenna to school ALL day
* 2 half marathons Hobble Creek in August, Snow Canyon in Oct.
* played games
* made new friends
* re-connected with old friends
* FIRST veggie garden
* planted FIRST tree
* painted walls in our house
* camping in our tent trailer
* Lamb day 5K
* learned that living close to family is GREAT
* camp fires in our back yard
* designed how to finish our basement (one day)
* made crafts (Mikes new hobby :)
* watched Raigynn go from crawling to walking
*watched Brynlee turn from a toddler to a little girl
* watched McKenna learn to love school
* TRIED to eat healthier
*decorated and re-decorated our house
*painted our hideous kitchen table :)
* tried ALOT of new recipes
*learned the benifits of "small" town living
* learned the annoyances of "small" town living
* became High School Musical fans
* took the girls to Temple square for the first time
* witnessed my little sis and her family get sealed
* learned just what being a "traditional" wife is
* read the Twilight series (hated the last one)
* being WISE means buying boots
* Pre-School with Brynlee
* celebrated the big 30 with Mike
* explained the cirvle of life to Brynlee using lambs
*learned how to make Yummy whole wheat bread
* bottled salsa, spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, peaches, grape juice, grape jelly, and peach jam

* * Looking back at this last year has been great. I am once again reminded that these days I have with my little ones will not always be the same. Things will inevitably change and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have to be able to be apart of it!

shoot I was looking for a hundred things you did in 2008...he! he! Nice post...hope that one day I will become as "traditional" as you!!! Love it!

Your new family picture looks so great! I'm glad that your girls cooperated. Congrats on all the things you've accomplished this year. Sounds like it was pretty succesful.

I loved reading all the things you did this year-I might have to steal your idea. I love making lists :o) Next year you'll have to teach me how to bottle stuff-I've got no clue!
