Yep, this post is about spinning. When Brynlee was about 6 months old I was taking a few classes at USU and decided to sign up for a semester of spinning. It was taught at a nice gym that was near our apt and since I had been exercising regularly I figured why not get some credit and breakup the routine! Ahhhhhh little did I know how much I would enjoy it. After the calluses were built up (nope not kidding) and I understood how to prep my bike I knew I could never go back. I LOVED it. I ended up joining the gym after the semester was over so I could continue on my spinning class high. The instructors were awesome and were constantly talking about their triathlons. Thus my first exposure to want to try one myself. After each class a big group headed down to the pool for some laps. I tried following them once only to find myself practically drowning and completely embarrassing myself. After that I promised myself to just stick to spinning and then when I grew up I could try again. Just something about the music, the sweat dripping, the dark room, and the challenge kept bringing me back. I am seriously getting excited just sitting here typing this out :) After moving into the middle of nowhere and not having access to a gym my spinning days were over. Finally after a 3 years I went to a spinning class!! It was just how I remembered it. Dark room, loud music, and sweat dripping everywhere. I even took the plunge and swam a few laps without embarrassing myself. Too bad I cant write to all the people from a few years back and tell them I finally did it.......

I totally hear ya!!! Love LOVE spinning. It was so fun last night. Great class, great company, great workout! Love it. Can't wait til next week. :)
I too LOVE spinning! :) I have only been to a few classes (due to the location of the great EM) but now that I live SO close to EVERYTHING I am trying to find a gym that I can take some spin classes at...it just makes you feel GOOD!
I've never tried a spinning class, but probably should (when I'm not prego) because I've never heard of anyone that doesn't like them! We need a gym in EM so bad!
I've never tried one either. Where do you go?
Pretty sure I found a new love.....once my booty stopped throbbing! And let's not even talk about looking like you are drowning when you swim. I'm just waiting for one of the lifeguards to jump in and try to save me. Hahaha! :)
