Every so often I just have the urge to change things up. This is the longest we have ever lived in one place so to change it up meant something a bit more drastic! My sweet husband is so good to me and lets me talk him into about anything. Here is the "during" process of the board and batten he did. Reading online it said that the project would take a good 5-6 hours. Given the size of our room and the fact we went a bit more in depth then they suggested it took ALOT longer then that. Thankfully Mike still loves me! Although, I am pretty sure next time I have a project in mind he'll want more details before we begin. Prior to the board and batten we painted and put chair rail up in our "music" room and re-painted the kitchen. I LOVE the end results! Now just to take some after shots. Hmmmmmm where did I put that massive pkg of batteries for the camera........
