Mike and I took a much needed break from the real world on Friday. Liz (the best non-waiting girl there is) took our girls for the day and Mike and I enjoyed some much needed time to ourselves. We did a little shopping, nothing too exciting Costco, Wal-mart and my favorite local nursery to get ideas for our "one day killer landscaping job"! We also went to the Mt. Timp Temple and did sealings and ended the day with a hike up at Ensign Peak just in time to see the sun setting. It was a perfect ending to our day together. (It would have been a perfect night had the Jazz showed up to play) We joked about going and scalping some tickets but when we heard the score after the first quarter we decided to save our pocket books! It is so nice to get away and to change up the daily grind...something we are going to have to do a little more often. Thanks again Liz for playing with the girls and thanks Smalls for being so fun to be with!
