Brynlee and Mike had a great time together last weekend. Brynlee was so excited to go on a date with her Daddy. She kept asking me if she could wear her swimming suit and I tried to explain to her that a date did not mean she was going swimming. I have no clue why she kept making that connection but even when she was with Mike she kept asking Mike where the water was and when the date was going to start. Mike took her to dinner and to the movies. She was all smiles the whole evening (even without the water). After they got home she started telling me all about the movie and was most excited about her own "big drink" and candy. Mike and I have talked at length how important it is that our girls know how special they are and how they should be treated. These Daddy-Daughter dates are a great opportunity to show them how they are to be treated and as an added bonus their relationship can develop so hopefully when those dates do start rolling around they'll expect to be treated like a princess........hopefully

Daddy Daughter Date
