6:45- I walk in the door from my morning run and see McKenna standing there rubbing her eyes and asking,"Mom did you ask Grandma if I could sleep over" I responded that I had forgotten the night before. " Well can you call her right now" "Well it is still a little early, lets wait for her to get to work and call her." Okay what time will that be? Can you start the timer? How do you know when she will be there? Will she be there soon? Mom I am so excited!"
7:15 - "Is it time yet? Did you try her cell?"
7:35- " This is going to take forever, is she there yet?"
8:00- Finally she is there :) . " Hi, Mom I promise I had nothing to do with this." My mom just laughs and holds her breath while I give the phone to McKenna. "Hi, Grandma!" She gets really nervous and tries to hand me the phone so she wont have to ask herself. I give her the phone back and say if you want to do this you have to ask. "Grandma, can I sleep at your house by myself?" I can hear my mom laugh and say "S...u...r...e". McKenna says "YES!" I talk to my Mom for a minute then get off the phone. McKenna is now grinning from ear to ear.
8:10- Brynlee is FREAKING out because she wants to go to. Something I had not anticipated. I am not sure where to take this..... McKenna is near tears because she wants it to be just her and Grandma. So I decided to coax Brynlee with a date with Daddy instead. She isn't too thrilled about it but I think it will do the trick especially if I drop Brynlee off at Mikes work first.
8:12-While I try to reason with Brynlee and tell her how much fun this "surprise" date will be and that next time it will be her turn, McKenna is up packing her clothes and asking where her suitcase is.
8:20- McKenna is all packed and wanting to know how long she will have to wait until it is time to go. Brynlee wants to know when it will be her turn to sleep at Grandmas house "ALL BY HERSELF!" so that McKenna can go on a date with Daddy. Ughhh
It looks like today might be a very long one! Hopefully Mike can think of something really fun for him and Brynlee to do or else I may never hear the end of it!

Who remembers the pillow that Grandma Robbins had with the title of the post embroidered on it :) Ahhhhh the memories
I'm way excited! Wonder which "sugar" ceral she's going to pick out? Seems like just yesterday . . . . . .
OH my wordy! I remember doing that with grandma and grandpa. How strange that now your little girl is big enough to do the same things. That is so cute she was so excited. I would say I will take your two girls but i don't think Mom would be to thrilled with that idea ;)
I CAN REMAMBER KRISTEN AND ANGIE
HAVING BREAKFAST WITH MOM AND DAD

I THINK MOTHER AND I WILL HAVE SOME TOMMROW...
Thanks for the peak into a life with more than one child. I still wear my flannel jammies that we got when we slept over at Grandma and Grandpa's. There still just as warm and comfy 10+ years later! Oh and Mom, don't forget her very own treat too.
Oh a sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa's was so very fun. I remember once when K and Celeste and I all slept over together. I think we were giving grandma a run for her money. She told us we needed to have a contest of who had the most messed-up hair in the morning. That got us to sleep. She took a photo the next day. I still have that. Fun times.
And I remember that pillow! My mom made it and it is at our house now...waiting for mom to be grandma!
